As a courtesy, we will file your dental insurance claim forms for you, and we are always happy to help you strategize your treatment to maximize benefits.

In-Network: We participate in select plans with BCBS of MA and Altus Dental. Once we verify benefits, you only pay your copays at time of service — your plan pays us directly and we handle all your forms.

Out-of-Network: Many insured patients have out-of-network dental benefits with carriers including Aetna, Cigna, Guardian, MetLife, Principal, Ameritas, Sunlife, and more — who reimburse our office directly, usually at nearly 100% of our fees. You only pay your copay, if any, at time of service.

 

Delta Dental works differently for every state and employer depending on the contract your employer has with their local Delta franchise and the state laws for Assignment of Benefits (AOB)  for paying out-of-network providers.  Most of our patients have a Delta Dental plan. Delta Dental of MA almost always pays the patient directly, therefore the patient pays our office in full at the time of service. Delta Dental of RI always pays the Delta Dental fee profile to the provider directly so the patient only pays the difference at the time of service.  All other states vary but we can help you figure that out.

Our staff  electronically submits your claim forms after you pay in full at time of service if your particular Delta plan will only pay the patient.ie: not accept AOB . Delta Dental will reimburse you directly within a few weeks. Our front desk team is trained to decipher the Delta Dental web and be transparent with you to help you understand your benefits.
